If the जगत् (jagat -world) which the scriptures declare as the व्यावहारिकसत्य (vyāvahārikasatya - phenomenal realm) is considered as असत् (asat -unreal), then yes, in an असत् जगत् (asat jagat - unreal world), the असत् वेदाः (asat vedāḥ - unreal Vedas) were revealed to असत् ऋषिमुनिः (asat ṛṣimuniḥ - unreal seer-sages), and subsequently which were all then अवास्तविकरूपेण संकलितम् (avāstavikarūpeṇa saṃkalitam - unrealistically compiled) into the असत्चतुर्विद वेदसम्हिताः (asat caturvida vedasamhitāḥ - unreal four-fold Vedic Corpuses) viz. ऋग्वेदसंहिता (ṛgvedasaṃhitā - Rigvedic corpus), यजुर्वेदसंहिता (yajurvedasaṃhitā - Yajurvedic corpus), सामवेदसंहिता (sāmavedasaṃhitā - Samavedic Corpus) & आथर्वणवेदसंहिता (ātharvaṇavedasaṃhitā - Atharvavedic corpus); and inturn each असत् वेदसम्हिता (asat vedasamhitā - unreal Vedic Corpus) has its share of असतचतुर्विधानशाखाः (asatacaturvidhānaśākhāḥ - unreal fourfold branches) viz. मन्त्रखण्ड (mantrakhaṇḍa - mantra section), ब्राह्मणखण्ड (brāhmaṇakhaṇḍa - brahmana section), आरण्यकखण्ड (āraṇyakakhaṇḍa - aranayaka section) & उपनिषद्खण्ड (upaniṣadkhaṇḍa - upanishad section). And all these असत्चतुर्विद वेदसम्हिताः (asat caturvida vedasamhitāḥ - unreal four-fold Vedic Corpuses) were unreally transmitted असत्शब्दप्रमाण श्रुतिवाक्यस्य (asatśabdapramāṇa śrutivākyasya - unreal scriptural testimony of scriptural declaration) through several millennia to असत् पारम्परीय संप्रदायाः (asat pāramparīya saṃpradāyāḥ - unreal traditional lineages).
And the core philosophical essence underlying these असत् खण्डाः वेदसंहितानां (asat khaṇḍāḥ vedasaṃhitānāṃ - unreal Upanishad-sections of Vedic corpuses), was susequently summarized by the revered असत् महऋषि (asat mahaṛṣi - unreal supreme-seer) by name श्री बादरायणम्हऋषि (śrī bādarāyaṇamhaṛṣi - Sri Badarayana Maharishi) through his cryptic aphorisms viz. the असत् शारीरकब्रह्मसूत्र (asat śārīrakabrahmasūtra - unreal corporeal divine aphorisms) and similarly another असत् महऋषि (asat mahaṛṣi - unreal supreme-seer)by name श्री व्यासमहऋषि (śrī vyāsamahaṛṣi - Sri Vyasa Maharishi) wrote the असत् श्रीमद् भगवद्गीता (asat śrīmad Bhahavadgītā - unreal Sri Bhagavat Geeta), as part of असत् महा इतिहासकाव्य (asat mahā itihāsakāvya - unreal grand historic-epic) by name महाभारतम् (mahābhāratam - Mahabharat), wherein, the असत् विभवावतार महाविष्णोः (asat mahāvibhavāvatāra mahāviṣṇoḥ - unreal grand-glorifying-incarnation of Maha Vishnu) by name भगवान् श्री कृष्णपरमात्मन् (bhagavān śrī kṛṣṇaparamātman - Bhagvan Sri Krishnaparamatman) gave his famous unreal discourse standing on the असत् रणखल(asat raṇakhala - unreal battle-field) by name कुरुक्षेत्र (kurukṣetra - Kurukshetra).
And eventually असत् परमाचार्याः (asat paramācāryāḥ - unreal supreme preceptors) belonging to various असत् पारम्परीय संप्रदायाः (asat pāramparīya saṃpradāyāḥ - unreal traditional lineages), wrote असत् भाष्यग्रन्थाः (asat bhāṣyagranthāḥ - unreal commentorial treatises) on all these असत् प्रस्थानत्रयी (asat prasthānatrayī - unreal principal triad) viz. असत् उपनिषद्खण्डाः वेदसंहितानां (upaniṣadkhaṇḍāḥ vedasaṃhitānāṃ - unreal Upanishad-sections of Vedic corpuses), असत् शारीरकब्रह्मसूत्र (asat śārīrakabrahmasūtra - unreal corpreal divine aphorisms) & असत् श्रीमद् भगवद्गीता (asat śrīmad bhagavadgītā - unreal Sri Bhagavat Geeta).
And within each of these असत् पारम्परीय संप्रदायाः (asat pāramparīya saṃpradāyāḥ - unreal traditional lineages), in the name of explaining these असत् प्रस्थानत्रयी शास्त्राणि (asat prasthānatrayī śāstrāṇi - unreal principal triadic scriptures), the असत् परमाचार्याः (asat paramācāryāḥ - unreal chief preceptors) debated among each other as to whether the असत् महावाक्यानि (asat mahāvākyāni - supreme declarations) viz.तत् त्वम् असि (tat tvam asi - that thou art), अहं ब्रह्मास्मि (ahaṃ brahmāsmi - I am Brahman) & सर्वं खल्विदं ब्रह्म (sarvaṃ khalvidaṃ brahma - All this is verily Brahman) etc., which form part of the असत् उपनिषद्खण्डाः वेदसंहितानां (asat upaniṣadkhaṇḍāḥ vedasaṃhitānāṃ - unreal Upanishad-sections of Vedic corpuses), corresponds to their chosen philosophical narrativeviz. viz. केवलाद्वैतवेदान्तदर्शन (kevalādvaitavedāntadarśana - absolute non-dualistic final-gnosis philosophy), विषिश्टाद्वैतवेदान्तदर्शन (viṣiśṭādvaitavedāntadarśana - qualified non-dualistic final-gnosis philosophy), द्वैतवेदान्तदर्शन (dvaitavedāntadarśana - dualistic final-gnosis philosophy) etc.... and for several centuries this अवास्तविकवादः (avāstavikavādaḥ - unrealistic argument) continues.... !!!!
And the irony is the असत् वेदान्त दर्शन (asat vedānta darśana - unreal Vedantic philosophy) unequivocally declares that असत् (asat -unreal) can only produce असत् (asat -unreal) and never सत्य (satya - real)... just as a अवास्तविक वानर (avāstavika vānara - unreal monkey) in one's स्वप्नावस्था (svapnāvasthā - dream state) can only beget another अवास्तविक वानर (avāstavika vānara - unreal monkey).
Does that mean that असत् परमाचार्याः (asat paramācāryāḥ - unreal chief preceptors) can produce only असत् ज्ञान (asat jñāna - unreal wisdom) as they themselves are product of the असत् जगत् (asat jagat - unreal world)?
If in a स्वप्नावस्था (svapnāvasthā - dream state) I have a dream of earnestly obtain the prerequisites of साधना चतुष्टय (sādhanā catuṣṭaya - fourfold practises) and earnestly indulge in all the prescribed practices of ज्ञानमार्ग(jñānamārga - wisdom path) for attaining चित्तशुद्धि (cittaśuddhi - mind cleansing) and religiously indulge in the three-pillars of contemplative practice viz. श्रवण (śravaṇa - study), मनन (manana - reflection) & निदिध्यासन (nididhyāsana - absorption) of the प्रस्थानत्रयभाष्यानि (prasthānatrayabhāṣyāni - principle triadic commentaries), does that gaurantee I attain ब्रह्मज्ञान (brahmajñāna - divine gnosis) liberating from the स्वप्नावस्था (svapnāvasthā - dream state)? Or will it be like in a dream, when a sick patient suffering from illness will get cured by taking medicines as prescribed by doctors only within his dream? Patient, sickness, doctor, medicine and cure are all only within the dream... once i awake from the dream, everything collapses.
